AIAB JumpingJackson - Assembled by Jaybee (re-uploaded in 2001!) ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Whats It All About? ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Hi there AmigaInABox peeps! By relative demand, here is another AmigaInABox games upgrade, this time its Jumping Jackson A few years ago, I *loved* this game, despite it being a really tough one to play. It was one of the many games with music that I recorded onto tape - it was that good.... :) I have the music mods on my PC and every so often fire up WinAMP, and give them a listen - but you need not bother simply playing the mods anymore, now you can actually play the game! Yup, the floppy version works-(ish) on Fellow, and even on WinUAE yet the game requires a bit of fiddling around with the configs, such as an OCS chipset, Kick1.3 rom etc.. even if you did get the game to boot, the game was too fast, making it impossible to play! Anyway, this was more of an upgrade for myself rather than anyone else - its hardly an Amiga classic, like most of my AIAB Game upgrades, yet I consider it good enough to bother making an upgrade for perfect playing in WinUAE. Just use a 'HD-Games' config file, run WinUAE, and simply click a few Workbench icons - what could be easier? ;) Credit goes out to Harry for writing the WHDload slave, which adds a quitkey (numeric '*'), fixes a few gfx glitches, and even grants handy extra lives every 4000 points! ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Installation ~~~~~~~~~~~~ Just extract this zipfile to exactly the same place you extracted the first AIAB-2000.zip file, overwriting any files when prompted. Simple, huh? No? Well okay, imagine AIAB is installed in C:\WinUAE, you would have to extract this archive to C:\ Cya! James Maurice Battle - jmbattle@bradford.ac.uk - http://aiab.emuunlim.com/
